 What an honor!! Elite News has been an intricate part in the lives of residents in Dallas for decades. The first African-American owned newspaper, with a readership of 160,000 , the Elite News is the inroad to the community.
And now, they have asked me to be one of the Grand Marshals of the 2014 Martin Luther King Jr. Elite News Parade!!!!!! I can't wait to participate, I remember covering the parade two years ago for NBC5 and enjoying every minute of the music, floats and people. Now I get to be in the parade~!!!! What a blessing!! The Elite News was founded by William “Bill” Blair and is family-owned and has been a part of the Dallas area for over 45 years.
