Empire cast all white party in DALLAS

Everyone came out dressed in there best All-White attire for K104s Empire party.
Yes I got a chance to get an up close and personal look at Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal on the show.  

His brother on the show Actor Yaz the Great aka Hakeem was also genuinely nice.

When Jussie Smollett took a selfie with me and gave me a hug I was like whooaaaa!!!!! The duo came to Dallas to promote their albums and the hit show at the Mantus nightclub, where K104 radio station expanded the venue to include an outside bar. 

Listeners wore there best white outfits, but when radio personality Dede McGuire of Dede in the morning show, along with her co-hosts comedian Michael Shawn & the beautiful Lady Jade began giving out tickets to take pictures with the Stars everyone almost lost their cool.  

Once the stars of the hit show walked into the VIP area the crowd began to go crazy. 
Smollett even joked that the event reminded him of the All White Party from the show!

In my 5 years in Dallas reporting on everything from The President to the Super bowl,  I've never seen fans lose it like that before.

K104 allowed fans to come into VIP and get photos with the guys.

I have to give credit where it's do, after signing autographs all day at record stores etc these guys managed to take photos with the same kindness, humility and never broke a sweat, even though fans were losing it trying to get close to them.
Yaz eventually left, but Smollett stayed a little longer and took selfies with the crazed crowd, even defending a fan against a security guard who kept telling them to move back and not touch the star.  Both guys were humble and down to earth, and Jussie really has a way about him that makes you feel like you've know him before.
He even took my phone and we got a quick selfie  before he left the party.
