Megafest was a Mega event bringing thousands to Dallas for the first time this ever! I really enjoyed the wonderful conference full of inspirational workshops, a gospel concert, comedy show, Celebrity Basketball game, and exciting panel discussions!
I also had the opportunity to attend a VIP reception at the W Hotel, where I spent the week-end downtown. Dozens of celebrity's were in attendance. I saw Brandy, Michelle Williams, Lynn Whitfield, Robert Townsend and numerous other celebrities.
TD Jakes also showcased the Black Nativity movie starring Jennifer Hudson and Angela Basset at the reception. It was an event that was phenomenally done, great food, fellowship and networking.
The coolest part, all the celebs were so humble and nice, no one was stuck-up or rude, black Hollywood was definitely representing in Dallas Friday night!
