The Fete is a magical event bringing together people from across the Wilmington area to dine, fellowship, dance and get to know one another in a unique setting. No one knew of exactly what it was, or where it was being held. When I first received an envelope with a unique sticker and no return address inviting me to attend, I'll admit, I was nervous! Once I discovered more about the charity it benefited, Blue Ribbon Commission and the person behind it, Lynn Jones I was so excited!
The event was mystery until the end, two hours before it was set to start we were given the address to meet. Once there, we were picked up in a limo bus and driven to our secret location. The dinner was held at Grand Cru at Lumina Station in Wrightsville Beach. There was also excellent music, a live band featuring music by the talented Darryl Sax Murrill !
