So excited about speaking to more than 100 students @MallardCreekHS about journalism and making good life choices. I also talked to an acting class before I left about the industry.

I love giving back!! Today I had the chance to speak to students at West Mecklenburg High School! More than a hundred students were so interested in my career and asked questions the whole time I was there.  The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists hosted the new Mayor-Elect of Charlotte, Jennifer Roberts at their annual general membership meeting. It was a great time to all questions and hear what she has to so about the future of the city. Roberts will take office next month. |
