![]() The House of Renewed Hope, developed by Exoneree Christopher Scott, fights for social justice for wrongfully accused individuals in Texas. SO as someone who comes from a family who fought for Civil Rights, I knew this was one fundraiser I would suport. The event kicked off at 300Dallas Bowling Alley in Addison. I invited a few CW interns to come out and volunteer and rub elbows with the City leaders. We all had the opportunity to volunteer for the fundraiser and have a blast. It was an intimate event with a live band, and Dallas politicians. One of which I had the recent opportunity to interview- Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price. I introduced him to the interns and he was so full of inspiration. One thing he said really stuck with me which was 'Let your presence speak before you do.'
