Great birthday dinner at Bonefish in Charlotte.
If you go you must try the lobster tails, truffle mac & cheese and I tried my friends chicken with goat cheese and spinach and it was to die for along with thecrab cakes!!

Best Birthday Party Ever

My birthday party turned into an engagement party! My fiancé did a wonderful job hosting a big birthday bash for me at my apartment clubhouse.
Not only did he cook tons of food, but he coordinated with my best girlfriends Kelli McNeil, Lakishia McLeod, Elesha Smith and my cousin Cierria Williams to ensure it was a day to remember! The decorations were beautiful and everyone came out including my closest friends, family and colleagues to celebrate.
My brother took care of my DJ Shark who was amazing!
My parents were awesome and brought a lot of stuff.
Ebony was a great bartender and Cieria kept the food hot and plentiful.

I had a great time at the melting pot restaurant in Charlotte dot I must say, it was not only a chance to celebrate my birthday with my closest friends and family, but my then boyfriend pop the question to propose to me that night! Here are photos of the food and the proposal!

After several months of dating Yusef Abdur-Razzaaq proposed to me on my Birthday (see picture below) but because he couldn't get on one knee he re-did the proposal at my Birthday party the next night!

Black Journalists Workshop

The Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists gathered at Cantina 1511, to listen to former NABJ president Bob Butler discuss the SAG unions in other cities.
It was a great time to also network with other Black journalists, and many congratulated me on my engagement!
