MAVS MANIA, COWBOYS AND TURKEYWell a tale of two Dallas teams, one won, the other lost. Either way I had a great time at both games! The mavs seats were amazing, and I really love going to the game and eating, drinking and cheering on my favorite NBA team. The game was not an easy win, they literally almost lost the game and went into double overtime, so it was a nail biting victory~
The Cowboys, not so much. I like dem boyz...but let's just say they could never really get a handle on the game and lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, leaving me sad on Thanksgiving. Mainly, because I was co-hosting a party with one of the players and hoped the lost wouldn't ruin everyone's mood. Let's just say the party was still awesome, but it would've been even better if the guys would've won the game!

So by now you've probably watched your timeline on social media flood with pictures #DallasMargaritaBall. Every year thousands of Dallas elite come together for a party with a purpose.
First of all in order to attend, you must have personally been invited by someone in the Dallas Margarita Society. They are the group responsible for raising the money and making sure the event is a success. Throughout the year they hold mixers, if you want a ticket, then dress up head to a mixer and pray you meet someone willing to give you a paper invite. Each hold two tickets which clearly spell out bring a toy and dress formally. This was my third time going and it was held at the Sheraton in Downtown Dallas. The best part is it's not just about fun but for charity. Each person has to also bring a toy, so thousands of toys were donated to needy kids. Okay, maybe the best part is the fact that you're an adult dressed in your finest tuxedo or your finest gown and you get the chance to party not only in one ball room, multiple ballrooms with various genres of music to choose from. There are thousands of other people just like you kicking back and having a great time and did I mention free margaritas until they run out! The exclusive event is held by the Dallas Margarita Society, and is invite only. Or for a cool grand you and your friends can sponsor a table. Don't even ask how I managed to get 8 tickets! So blessed to be able to look out for my friends who always look out for me. My publicist Nina Zavala and I wore a Lyza Faye [www.lyzafaye.com] original dress. I even managed to get 97.9 radio host Veda Loca to come out for the first time, we had a great time dancing the night away barefoot! Hope to see you their next year. Lets just say me and my girls had a blast! For more info click here ![]() Had a blast at the Prime Prep Academy celebrity basketball game. Thanks Nina Zavala for the invite, it was cool watching the kids play against some of the older guys. I also got a chance to meet and take a pic with Teairra Marie, singer and Love & Hip Hop Reality Show Star. Rae Sremmurd performed and internet sensation Terio tore up the gym with his dance moves! Check out the videos below!![]() Participating in career Day is always fun. This year school counselor Jacqueline Grant invited me to speak to a various number of classes at Henry W.Longfellow Career Exploration Academy in Dallas. And, boy did I had a great time!!! I know you often see me in party pics and celebrity functions, but I really do love the kids. Even though I don't have any of my own, I think that helps me appreciate other people's kids even more lol. I had the chance to show them my traffic reports, reporter stories and also encourage them to dream big and follow their hearts when it comes to being whatever they want to be in life. Honestly, I always tell the kids to choose the right friends, focus on your homework and dream big. I had a few students ask to take pictures with me in each class and talk to me about being journalists. I just hope one child is impacted by my speeches and becomes the big star they dream of becoming one day. I also saw fellow media personality Lady Jake from K104 & Al Mac from the Kidd Kraddick show, among many others. Check out the photos... ![]() The award winning Vincent Tucker radio show was kind enough to ask me to be a guest. I didn't know what to expect originally because after all anything goes in radio, but I knew I was in good hands because the guys were nothing but nice to me the whole interview. Vincent did ask some tough questions, like who are you dating, can you cook, talk about your career. But I really wasn't ready for the funny promo video he had me shoot for his website.
